Outstanding photography. The KÖLNTURM photo competition.
The KÖLNTURM is running a photo competition. This is an opportunity to
be creative and put the KÖLNTURM firmly in the spotlight.
The competition starts on 15.08.2009 and runs until midnight
on 14.09.2009, 24 Uhr. During this period, pictures can be uploaded to www.bilderbuch-koeln.de..
The competition is open to all interested photographers, whether beginners
or seasoned professionals.
You are encouraged to give free rein to your imagination and creativity. You
can take any kind of picture you like. Be it a backlit shot, a worm’s-eye
view or an aerial photo, a close-up shot or a panoramic view, an abstract picture
or a classic black-and-white composition – the choice is yours. So use
your own aesthetic sense to create a unique portrayal of the KÖLNTURM!
There’s only one condition: it must be a digital photograph in portrait
format and in a printable file size (approx. 2,500 pixels wide).
There are great prizes to be won.
1st Prize: A choice of a Nikon D5000 or a Canon EOS 500D worth
approx. €1,000 plus a workshop at the School of Photography in Cologne worth
approx. €250.
2nd - 4th Prize: A workshop at the School

5th - 8th Prize: bed & breakfast
